What the Operations Center is, and why it exists

Run MikroTik configuration and maintenance remotely and safely, instead of logging into each device by hand.
The Operations Center is the advanced section inside Karcsham Fi that performs MikroTik configuration and maintenance remotely, from one screen, instead of logging into each device by hand through Winbox.
The problem it solves
Your routers sit at distant sites and are reachable only through a secure tunnel. One wrong command on a remote device can cut that link for good, leaving a site visit as the only way back. That risk alone is why necessary maintenance gets postponed: upgrades, clock sync, hotspot setup, blocking connection sharing.
The Operations Center removes that risk in three ways:
- Vetted, ready-made operations instead of free-form commands typed from memory.
- A preflight check before every run that refuses the device when conditions are not right — while the router is still untouched.
- Automatic rollback on sensitive operations: if we cannot prove the router is still healthy after a change, the device restores itself with no action from you.
Three tiers by risk
- Read — changes nothing: full diagnostics, update checks.
- Safe write — changes that cannot affect your link to the device: adding a hotspot or User Manager account.
- Guarded write — changes that could affect the link: upgrades, reboots, hotspot provisioning, blocking connection sharing. Only these require a typed confirmation, take a backup, and arm the automatic rollback before touching the device.
What that looks like in practice
Open the section, pick the operation, pick the routers, read the preflight result for each device, then confirm. You follow execution live and keep a record of every step: what ran, what was verified, and what was refused and why.
