Accepted field values reference

This article is the quick reference for values customers type into Karcsham Fi fields.

Time and validity

Use these formats in Time Limit, Validity, Uptime Limit, From Time, and Till Time:

• 30s for 30 seconds.
• 5m for 5 minutes.
• 2h for 2 hours.
• 1d for one day.
• 4w2d for 4 weeks and 2 days.
• 1d12h30m for one day, 12 hours, and 30 minutes.
• 01:30:00 for one hour and 30 minutes.
• 1d 00:00:00 for RouterOS mixed day format.
• 300 for 300 seconds.

Use 7d, not 7 days, for fields that control actual limits. In Generate, Validity is printable text only; in Packages, Validity controls real expiry when an expiry mode is enabled.

Data sizes

Use these in Data Limit, Download Limit, Upload Limit, and Transfer Limit:

• 512M.
• 1G.
• 1.5G.
• 2T.
• 1024K.
• 1073741824 for one GiB in bytes.
• 1GB and 1GiB are also accepted.

Only K, M, G, and T units are accepted. Empty means no data limit.

Rate limit

Examples:

• 4M/4M.
• 10M/5M.
• 512k/2M.

Start with a simple RouterOS value if unsure.

Shared users

Accepted values commonly include:

• 1, 2, 3, or another number.
• unlimited.
• off on some User Manager values imported from the router.

Codes

Code length is 3 to 11 in validation. Character sets are numbers, lowercase, uppercase, mixed letters, lowercase plus numbers, uppercase plus numbers, or mixed letters plus numbers.

Prefix and Suffix accept English letters and numbers only, up to 10 characters. Code Number accepts English letters and numbers, up to 20 characters.

Prices

Price is used in reports. Selling Price is mainly printed on cards. Use numeric values such as 10 or 12.5.

MAC and RADIUS

MAC Address format is 00:11:22:33:44:55.

Print design fields

Page Size accepts A4, A5, Letter, and 80mm auto. Orientation accepts portrait or landscape. Card size is 10 to 300 mm, columns 1 to 10, rows 0 to 40, and gaps/margins 0 to 50 mm.
